Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive who can identify and develop new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. You will be responsible for expanding our product/ services across various markets while working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations. This role requires a go-getter attitude, a basic understanding of payment solutions industry, and the ability to navigate a fast-growing startup environment with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the digital payments and fintech space.
  • Proactively generate leads, build relationships, and convert prospects into long-term business partners.
  • Drive B2B sales by engaging with merchants, financial institutions, and potential resellers.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by executing effective business development strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships to enhance our payment solutions ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop market-specific strategies for product adoption.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and optimize go-to-market approaches.
  • Work independently and take full ownership of business opportunities.
  • Adapt quickly to a fast-changing environment and proactively solve challenges.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on customer interactions and market insights.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within fintech, digital payments, banking, or SaaS.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Bilingual proficiency  (Mandarin/ English) to engage with global clients and partners.
  • Basic understanding of payment solutions platform is a plus.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
