How to Set Up Your Credit Card with Digital Wallet
Get your phone ready to tap and pay — here’s how to link your credit card to Digital Wallet in no time.
STEP #01
- First, open the Wallet app on your phone to begin the process of binding your credit card to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- In the top-right corner, tap the “+” button to add a new card.
If you’re using Google Pay, it may appear as “Add a card” or “Set up payment method” depending on your device.
STEP #02
- Then, you’ll be directed to the Add Card page.
- Tap on “Add Debit or Credit Card” to proceed.
On some devices, you might see options like “Add a new card” or “Add payment method.” Select the one for debit/credit cards.
STEP #03
- Next, simply follow the on-screen instructions.
- When prompted, tap “Continue” to move forward with the setup process.
STEP #04
- After that, you’ll be prompted to hold your phone near your card to scan it.
- Instead, choose “Enter Card Details Manually” to type in your card information yourself.
STEP #05
- Then, manually enter your card details.
- You can find your card number in the lookcard.io app by flipping the virtual card.
- Make sure the name you enter matches exactly with the name displayed on your card.
STEP #06
- Next, enter your card’s expiration date and CVV (the 3-digit security code) to continue.
STEP #07
- After entering your card details correctly, you’ll be prompted to review and agree to the Terms and Conditions for using the digital wallet.
- Tap “Agree” to proceed.
STEP #08
- Allow around 60 seconds time for the system to review your card.
- Once your card is approved, you’ll see a blue checkmark.
- There you go — your card has been successfully added to Apple Pay or Google Pay!
STEP #09
- Upon successfully adding your card, you’ll be required to verify the card before it can be used.
- You may choose to verify via SMS OTP or email.
⚠️ Please note: There might be occasional delays or instability in receiving the OTP via SMS due to network issues from the service provider. If that happens, we recommend using the email option to receive your OTP code more reliably.
STEP #10
- Once you’ve selected your preferred verification method, you’ll receive an OTP (One-Time Password) via SMS or email, depending on your choice.
STEP #11
- Enter the OTP code when prompted, then tap “Next” to proceed.
STEP #12
- Upon successful verification, your card is now activated and ready to use with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- You can now enjoy fast, secure, and contactless payments straight from your phone!
