These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and Lookcard Limited (“LookCard”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) governing your access to and use of LookCard’s products and services, including account registration, wallet features, digital ID, card issuance, and related functionalities.

By registering for a LOOKCARD.IO Platform Account or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Fee Schedule, and other applicable agreements or policies available through our platform or mobile application.

  1. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible to register for and use a LOOKCARD.IO Platform Account, you must:

    • Be at least eighteen (18) years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction of residence;
    • Possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts;
    • Not be a resident of any jurisdiction subject to international sanctions or trade restrictions;
    • Pass our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification processes;
    • Not have been previously suspended or banned from using LookCard services.

We reserve the right to reject any application at our sole discretion and without obligation to disclose the reason.

  1. ACCOUNT CREATION AND ACCESS

To access LookCard services, you are required to create an account and provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. By registering, you agree to:

    • Maintain and promptly update your registration details;
    • Use your account solely for personal or authorized business purposes;
    • Keep your login credentials, passwords, and security verification methods confidential;
    • Accept full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account.

Unauthorized use of your account must be reported to us immediately.

  1. IDENTITY VERIFICATION (KYC)

As a regulated financial services provider, LookCard is obligated to perform customer due diligence. By opening an account, you agree to submit documents and information required to verify your identity, which may include:

    • Government-issued identification;
    • Proof of residential address;
    • Biometric authentication (e.g., facial recognition or liveness check);
    • Source of funds declaration or supporting documents as required.

Failure to comply with KYC requirements may result in delayed access, account suspension, or rejection of services.

  1. PERMITTED USE AND PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree to use LookCard services solely for lawful and legitimate purposes. You must not:

    • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized financial activity;
    • Use your account to facilitate money laundering, terrorism financing, or sanctions evasion;
    • Violate applicable laws or third-party rights;
    • Interfere with platform security, operations, or other users’ experience.

We reserve the right to monitor, restrict, or suspend usage if suspicious or prohibited activity is detected.

  1. FEES AND CHARGES
    • The Company does not charge any activation fee, deposit, or annual fee.

    • All applicable fees and charges shall be clearly listed on the Cardholder’s Agreement.

    • The Cardholder agrees and undertakes to pay all fees arising from the use of the credit card, debit card, and any related services under this Agreement, including but not limited to:

      • Transaction fees (strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including completed, reversed, declined, cancelled, or refunded transactions);

      • Foreign exchange conversion fees;

      • Any other fees and charges as may be prescribed by the Company from time to time.

    • The Cardholder irrevocably authorizes and agrees that all such fees and charges set out in this Agreement and published on the Cardholder Agreement may be deducted directly from the available balance of the Cardholder’s account wallet. All fees once charged are non-refundable under any circumstances.

    • In the event that the wallet balance is insufficient to settle any fees, the Company reserves the right to immediately or temporarily suspend or freeze the use of the credit card or debit card until the outstanding amount is fully settled.

    • The Company reserves the right to revise its fee schedule from time to time and to impose additional fees for any new services that may be introduced in the future.

    • The full and updated schedule of fees and charges relating to the credit card and debit card services shall be available on the Cardholder’s Agreement. Such fee schedule shall form an integral part of this Agreement and have the same legal effect.

  1. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account if:

    • You breach these Terms or any related policies;
    • Required by legal, regulatory, or compliance obligations;
    • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is identified;
    • You fail to complete identity verification or provide required documentation.

Upon termination, access to your card(s) and wallet may be revoked. Funds remaining in your account may be withheld, refunded, or forfeited depending on the circumstances and legal requirements.

  1. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with applicable data protection laws. We collect, store, and process your information for:

    • Account creation and verification;
    • Transactional operations;
    • Risk management, fraud prevention, and legal compliance;
    • Marketing (with your explicit consent).

We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data, including encryption and secure storage protocols.

  1. AMENDMENTS

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Any material updates will be communicated via email, in-app notifications, or posted on our platform. Continued use of the services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  1. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

    • Our services are provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties;
    • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service;
    • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform;
    • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees you paid to us within the preceding twelve (12) months.


You acknowledge the inherent risks of using digital assets and blockchain technology.

  1. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of HKSAR, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

  1. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, Fee Schedule, and any supplemental terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and LookCard regarding the services, and supersede all prior understandings and communications.

By proceeding with registration, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
